What?
For those of you who may not know we spend a lot of time at Bear Lake. Jenn and the kids spent the whole week up there. Thankfully my parents, who’s house we stay at, don’t mind (usually) that we are up there so much. The kids love it and we have a great time. Now if only the water would stay flat.
Those darn bugs
So Jenn wanted to try and get some pictures of the kids while we were at the lake. They on the other hand wanted nothing to do with them. Right about this point I think she wanted to kill them and as you can see our little girl wanted to kill the mosquito that had just landed on her arm….. or she thought it was going to kill her.
Our priest retreat this year was in Alpine, Wy going down the Snake River. We had a great time. We were able to do it twice on thursday and four times on friday. I got volunteered to be the guide of one of the fives boats which wouldn’t be such a bad thing if I had ever been on the snake river before. Anyway the first time down was a little scary just because I was in “charge” of the boat but after that it was quite fun. I also got a chance to play with the HD Hero from Gopro. I am loving this camera. There are a few things you need to get used to but all in all I really like it. Hope you enjoy.

Had a great time camping with a bunch of our friends. We headed up to Granite Flats Campground and did a little hiking, playing on the lake and beach, and just hanging out. Thanks everyone for the great time and delicious food.

If you ever find yourself in AZ (which we do often) and need a great place to take the family then try the Arizona Grand. We loved it and the kids had a blast. It felt like we had left the country and gone to some great vacation destination yet Grandma and Grandpa were only 45 min. up the road. The kids loved the wave pool, lazy river and even the kiddy area. Our 3 year old daughter said a few times “I wish we lived here” and I kept thinking the same thing.
