Camera: iPhone App: Camerab

On a few of our  ”dates” Jenn has suggested blue fish for dinner, which I have always said no. Why would a couple who don’t eat sushi go to a sushi bar? I would say.  Well tonight she finally got me to go. Since our baby is eating food and bottles these days I guess she can eat it now, dang. Anyway we ordered the snow white roll and it was really good. I am now going to have to try different rolls. Too bad it is so dang expensive.

I have always wanted to try a snoot on our 580ex II so I thought our ginger bread train we made tonight would be a good test subject.  I love being able to put the light exactly where I want it and think I will be using a snoot more often. We have had this kit for about 3 years and finally got around to making it. Guess better late then never huh? Anyway the kids loved building it and then thought we got to eat it. They tasted the frosting and I don’t think they wanted to anymore.

Lights are up (most are still working) and things are good.  It was a warm afternoon so I thought I would get the lights up before it started to snow and get cold. Since I am posting this after the fact, it was a good idea it has been freezing lately and the roof is covered in snow now.

So the tree is up but lights keep going out on it. I have never seen light strands that have one bulb that you can not replace but mine does. If a few lights go out on a single strand it works just fine, but if the one that you cant replace goes out it kills the whole strand. Lame! So I have now cut out 9 of them and just joined the wire back together. (There is probably a better word for that but I don’t know what it is.) Once we got the tree all decorated, two more lights have gone out.

So something strange happened on the drive home from Phoenix…… Jenn actually drove most the way. That never happens and I quite enjoyed myself. I rode in the back with the kids most the time and we had a ball. This is a picture my oldest and I took. It is the moon and when we took the picture we would shake the phone and just hit the “shutter” button. We took a ton of them. He thought it was way cool.

This was a pretty fun trail right in the in-laws neighborhood.  One section of the trail was maybe 2 feet wide.

Something else I am thankful for, trails without cactus. Turns out they don’t mix well with MTB tires. I picked out needles for 40 min. with tweezers. Sure hope I got them all.

I think we maybe in trouble with this one. She has become quite the model. On a side note Legoland is amazing, the rides no, but the giant lego creations everywhere are.
